This is indicated on the dial with the text “8 Giorni Brevatto”, a nod at the historic models Panerai produced for the Italian Navy. The combination of an innovative movement and case with design based on military watches made the PAM339 a popular model at its release. Produced in a limited edition of 1500 examples, the present Marina Militare is a modern Panerai with a classic look and feel.
