Fantastic trio of gemset eternity rings by Boodles, circa 1920. The rings are fully channel set with diamonds, rubies, and sapphires respectively, and presented in the original Boodle & Dunthorne triple ring box from their Lord Street shop in Liverpool. Superb quality, crafted in platinum throughout, they're each sized at 7 US and the diamond band features an engraved zig-zag pattern around the sides.

Boodles was founded in the North West of England, with heritage stretching back to 1798 when the Kirk family established a jewellery business in Liverpool, Boodle and Dunthorne. They crafted quality silver jewellery and pocket watches throughout the 1800s, but it was in the early 20th century - after merging with another Liverpool jeweller, Wainwrights - that the company broke into the upper echelons of English jewellery production. Boodles House was opened on the desirable corner of Lord Street and North John street, Liverpool, where it remains as company headquarters to this day, and further shops were established in Chester and Manchester, and later London. During the 20th century, the company provided chronographs to air and naval officers, and 1934 saw Boodles's first Royal commission, a silver-gilt switch box for presentation to King George V, and another in 1947 when they created the solid silver stand for one of Princess Elizabeth's wedding cakes. Now firmly established as a leading retailer of bespoke jewellery, Boodles also runs a five day tennis exhibition in the run up to Wimbledon, and featured in a 2014 TV documentary "The Million Pound Necklace: Inside Boodles".
